Ortuas can support healthcare-ready communication workflows, but these should only be represented as HIPAA-enabled when the proper agreements, platform settings, and operational controls are active.

Clients operating in healthcare or handling protected health information (PHI) must ensure that appropriate Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) are in place, that platform configurations reflect the required security controls, and that their operational workflows align with applicable regulatory requirements.

Healthcare compliance claims must match the actual configured environment. Ortuas provides the infrastructure and workflow options to support healthcare-ready implementations, but does not independently certify or guarantee HIPAA compliance on behalf of clients.
